Position Summary Ascot Group is seeking a motivated and analytical Part-Time Data Analyst to support our growing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in data analysis and visualization, who is looking to contribute impactful insights in a flexible, part-time capacity. You'll work with cross-functional teams to help transform data into actionable intelligence, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel Translate complex datasets into clear, concise business insights for stakeholders Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve underwriting, risk management, and operational efficiency Assist in data quality assurance and process improvement initiatives Collaborate with IT, Underwriting, and other business units to align analytics with strategic goals Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing a degree) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field 1–2 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting role preferred (internship or part-time experience welcome) Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) Familiarity with Python, R, or similar tools for data manipulation and analysis is a plus Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Flexible part-time hours (approx. 15–25 hours/week) Opportunity to work in a global, data-driven insurance environment Learning and development support with exposure to real-world analytics challenges Collaborative and supportive team culture Join Our Team At Ascot Group, data is at the heart of our decision-making.
