Job Description Responsibilities About the Role: The Software Development Engineer (SDE) I contributes across all development areas as part of an Agile Scrum team. Team members should be adaptable, willing to learn new tools and languages, and capable of participating in all aspects of product development. Flexibility and broad knowledge enable team members to support or lead efforts to meet commitments. The SDE I works under general direction, consistently delivering on commitments. The SDE I works with limited or no supervision and reliably meets commitments. Develops product features for data marketplaces, mobile apps, web apps, and APIs. Migrates products to the public cloud as appropriate. Invests in learning and experimentation to expedite cloud implementations. Uses automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software, continuously improving quality and speed. Contributes to test automation and peer reviews to enhance product quality. Maintains a production-first mindset focusing on scale, uptime, and rapid issue resolution. Engages in Agile practices to improve product quality, delivery speed, and team satisfaction. Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Software development expertise in relevant high-level programming languages. Data analysis and query optimization skills for scalable, performant products. Experience with test data management and automated testing. Participation in new feature development, automated tests, and security controls. Experience working in Agile Scrum teams, with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in software development and active seeking of feedback. Ability to build effective relationships and manage dependencies. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience with technologies such as Logic Apps, TIBCO, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Angular, Docker, Java, C#, Powershell, Bash, Oracle, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Selenium, and others as relevant. Experience Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in software development and test automation required.
