Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
• Locum Tenens position at an Outpatient Digestive Health Center• Schedule: Mondays and Fridays, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Fixed day shift)• No call requirements (No night or weekend call)• Coverage Duration: ASAP - Indefinite• Patient Load: 30-minute colonoscopies, 30-minute EGDs, 60-minute doubles• Hospital-based: 14 patients per day• EMR System: Epic• Group Size: 4 physicians plus locums• Perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and advanced GI procedures• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology REQUIRED• Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED• Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology REQUIRED• BLS and ACLS certification REQUIRED• Familiarity with Epic EMR system PREFERRED• Local provider (mileage reimbursed if applicable) REQUIRED• Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
