Position Overview:
Your mission will be to efficiently pick up and deliver freight between service centers and customers while contributing to the sales process.

- Connect with a FedEx talent specialist who will reach out to discuss the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations including doubles and straight trucks.
- Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
- Handle freight with tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Secure freight inside trailers using proper tools and materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding operational needs and updates.
- Provide excellent customer service and seek additional business from customers.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
- At least 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years, or completion of the FedEx Freight Driver Development course.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on FedEx standards.
- Ability to lift/carry freight weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Strong communication and basic math skills.
Working Conditions:
- Drive in various road and weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, vibration, and diesel fumes.
Compensation Details:
- Starting pay: $30.35 per hour with room for growth!
- Potential for additional mileage pay if assigned linehaul duties.
