Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of equipment problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repair history.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Operate tools and machinery required for repairs and maintenance.
- Order and manage spare parts inventory.
- Implement and enforce all Safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE by all staff interacting with machinery.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity, including climbing, bending, and occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and environmental regulations.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and equipment is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
