Description As a Retail Territory Sales Manager for Trex Composite Fencing category, you will play a critical role in driving sales and supporting store execution at Home Depot and Lowe’s locations across Texas and Oklahoma. Your focus will be on building meaningful relationships at all levels of the retail channel, increasing product visibility, training associates, and engaging contractors to help expand brand awareness and sell-through. This is a high-impact, field-based role ideal for a self-starter who is passionate about representing premium products in the home improvement industry. Primary Responsibilities Build relationships with retail decision-makers including District Managers, Store Managers, and Pro Sales Reps. Support the sell-through of Trex Fencing products by conducting product knowledge training and assisting with special order processes. Engage Pro Desks and contractor customers to generate interest and sign-ups in contractor programs and loyalty initiatives. Drive awareness and sales of Trex Fencing through in-store merchandising, hands-on demos, and promotional events. Maintain and update special order displays and merchandising kits to ensure brand consistency across locations. Partner with branch reps and internal sales teams to ensure alignment on sales strategy and execution. Support field resolution of service-related issues, including warranty evaluations and product troubleshooting. Deliver insights from the field to improve training, marketing support, and product positioning. Contribute to the annual territory plan and meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Travel regularly (up to 60%) throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field. 1–3 years of outside sales or retail territory experience. Background in home improvement or building materials strongly preferred. Experience working directly with Home Depot and/or Lowe’s is a significant advantage. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at both store and management levels. Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a multi-state territory independently. Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience a plus.
