Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Water Damage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the mitigation, cleanup, and restoration of properties affected by water damage. You will be the front line in helping customers recover from unexpected disasters with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond quickly to emergency water damage calls
Extract water and remove damaged materials
Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
Perform demolition, cleaning, and sanitizing of affected areas
Document work performed with job notes and photos
Maintain and clean equipment and company vehicle
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Follow all safety and industry standards
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Available for on-call rotation, including nights and weekends
Good communication and customer service skills
Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Preferred (but not required):
IICRC Certification (WRT/ASD)
Previous experience in restoration or construction
