Job Summary: The Maintenance Electrician provides electrical, electronics, instrumentation and some general maintenance services for the entire manufacturing operations. Primary responsibility: Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment based on industrial process controls – In process measuring devices, data transmission, storage devices, HMI and AC/DC drives. Ability to understand and follow various guidelines and working procedures (e.g. health and safety, electrical code NEC 70). Being familiar with mechanical drawings, fluid power schematics and operation sequences. Read electrical schematics, blueprints and maintain properly. Some knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and control Perform routine schedules and unscheduled electrical troubleshooting, repair, and calibrations. Diagnose electrical, mechanical and instrumentation problems. Knowledge of PM/ workorder software Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot power distribution, and power transformers. . Job Requirements and Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrician work and/or journeyman level experience in industrial electricity and controls. A full understanding of analog, digital, and logic circuits. Required knowledge in the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs, variable frequency drives, and power distribution systems (Preferred). Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Internet, and industry specific applications. Sense of resourcefulness and initiative. Ability to multitask and organize priorities. Ability to communicate effectively, verbal and written.
