Job Summary The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients in critical care and emergency settings. This role requires strong clinical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary care teams.
Key Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care in NICU, PICU, MICU, and ER settings Perform patient assessments, treatments, and therapeutic interventions Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment Monitor patient response and adjust treatment plans accordingly Maintain accurate clinical documentation Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience Experience in one or more of the following units: NICU, PICU, MICU, ER Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Active credentials required: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC NYSED License BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
