Job Description: Join the client's R&D team as a Data Scientist focused on developing predictive models and data-driven insights for materials and formulation design.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Collect and preprocess experimental and database-driven data Develop and optimize predictive models using machine learning Perform data mining and statistical correlation analysis Support formulation design using computer vision and modeling techniques Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders and SMEs Collaborate closely with R&D, data engineering, and business teams
Requirements: Must-Haves: PhD in Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, or related field Strong Python skills for data preparation, modeling, and visualization Experience with machine learning for R&D applications Background in data mining, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement Nice-to-Haves: Familiarity with SQL or MongoDB Experience with cloud computing (Azure preferred) Background in material science or formulation research
