We are partnering with a well-established aerospace and defense manufacturer to hire a
Production Supervisor
to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, maintain production schedules, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement on the shop floor. This role manages a single shift of hourly employees and plays a hands-on role in meeting daily production, yield, and safety targets.
What Youll Do
Lead daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals Supervise and develop hourly manufacturing employees Enforce safety, FOD, and quality standards (AS9100 environment) Coordinate closely with Production Planning on schedule changes and priorities Troubleshoot production, equipment, and material flow issues Track and report departmental KPIs and improvement initiatives Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction efforts Conduct training, audits, and team meetings
What Were Looking For 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments Working knowledge of AS9100 and quality-driven production Strong communication skills with both hourly and salaried teams Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic production reporting Lean manufacturing experience preferred DoD clearance preferred
