Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to manage production scheduling and material flow. You will be responsible for creating achievable production plans, managing work orders from issuance to closure, and coordinating with Receiving, Quality, and Engineering to ensure materials are available to meet delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Order Management: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand. Generate, release, and close production orders, ensuring accurate revision control in coordination with Document Control. Material Control: Monitor inventory levels and resolve material shortages immediately. Expedite the flow of incoming materials through Receiving, Inspection, and Kitting to ensure production readiness. Workflow Coordination: Coordinate the movement of assemblies between departments and work centers according to priorities. Status Reporting: Attend production meetings to provide accurate updates on material commit dates and schedule attainment. System Maintenance: Ensure all production data and work orders are accurately updated and closed in the ERP system in a timely manner.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain or Operations preferred, with 35 years of experience in production planning or control. Technical Skills: Proficiency with SAP ERP/MRP systems. Strong understanding of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM) and sub-assemblies. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Soft Skills:
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task under pressure, and excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination. Language : Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred.
