SAP Data Migration Lead
to own the
end-to-end Data Migration workstream
for large-scale
SAP S/4HANA Cloud (RISE)
transformation initiatives. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in
SAP BODS ,
S/4HANA Migration Cockpit , and complex legacy ERP migrations (preferably
Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision or other SQL-based systems ), along with strong leadership experience managing global delivery teams in a
regulated life sciences environment . Key Responsibilities Lead data migration
strategy, design, build, test, validation, reconciliation, cutover, and post-go-live
support. Own
S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (staging table-based)
migrations. Migrate key data objects including
Business Partner, Material Master, BOMs, and Hierarchies . Design and execute
data validation, reconciliation, and audit frameworks
using SAP BODS and SQL. Act as the
single point of contact
for migration build, deployment, and defect resolution. Develop and review
Functional Design Specifications
and deployment documentation. Estimate effort, manage delivery of migration user stories, and participate in
Agile/Scrum ceremonies . Interface directly with company IT, business, and quality stakeholders. Lead and mentor
onshore/offshore teams , ensuring delivery quality and timelines. Required Skills & Experience 12+ years
of Data Migration experience;
8+ years
with SAP BODS and S/4HANA. Must Have:
SAP
S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
(staging table approach). Strong hands-on experience with
SAP BODS
and SQL-based source systems. Proven migration experience from
Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
or similar ERPs. Strong understanding of
data governance, validation, and audit controls . Experience managing
offshore/global delivery teams . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Life Sciences / Pharma / Medical Devices domain experience. GxP-aligned data practices exposure. SAP or domain certifications. Experience with integrations (SOAP / REST APIs).
