Senior Software Engineer, Android

Location: Flexible for remote work within the USA. We are located in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL with hybrid options available. Remote is available for the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop new and existing Android native applications.
Support and manage Android mobile applications developed in‑house.
Test and maintain native Android applications, identify efficiencies, and recommend improvements.
Document new applications or changes made to existing applications.
Support continuous integration and automated testing processes.
Other duties as needed.
About You
6+ years of experience with Android development.
4+ years of experience with Kotlin.
Proficiency with MVVM architecture or equivalent.
Understanding of Git and willingness to participate in code reviews.
Basic understanding of web services used by front‑end applications.
Published one or more applications on the Google Play Store.
Solid understanding of the Android release cycle.
Advanced understanding of Google APIs.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Advanced understanding of the Android Studio IDE and build process.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related technical field.
Understanding of imperative and declarative frameworks (Jetpack Compose, Flutter, etc.).

Starting pay depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including location, market demands, experience, knowledge, and skills. Base salary ranges for the role are $130,000 to $210,000 per year in key states.
