Job Title: Supply Planner
Location: Full Remote
Duration: 3 months Assignment
Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, PST hours, (flexible but will need to support business critical items as they come up)
Summary:
The supply planner delivers business value by developing tactical and strategic store inventory plans and establishing inventory levels for assigned products to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives.
Developing tactical and strategic supply plans and establishing inventory levels for assigned production materials or finished goods to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives.
Ensures that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand.
Daily Responsibilities:
Placing PO’s.
Working with distribution and transportation to ensure on time delivery.
Exception management.
Collab cross functionally (sourcing, operations, demand planning, replenishment planning) to understand what’s happening and proactively planning.
Understanding from an operations standpoint what is need to ensure they’re well prepped.
Project management and data integrity.
Reporting.
Technology Requirements:
Microsoft Office Suite.
Oracle (or exp using some ERP system).
4-year college degree in Supply Chain or related Business field.
Can also be supplemented with equivalent worker experience.
Required Background & Skills:
2-4 years of experience in Supply Planning.
2-4 years of experience in analytical skills for data review, identifying trends.
Supplier relations.
2-4 years of experience in supply chain background or inventory management.
Strong communications but will not be conducting presentations.
Experience in a highly matrixed organization
Nice-to-Haves:
Supporting supply plans in an analyst compacity.
Smart Sheets.
