Agua­dal­lia, PR Hybrid—3 days onsite, 2 days remote Citizenship & Clearance

U.S. citizenship required. No security clearance needed. What You Will Do

Communicate technical topics clearly to both technical peers and non‑technical team members. Provide constructive feedback during peer reviews; mentor and document knowledge to guide teammates. Work proactively in a self‑driven manner with an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to manage scope, budget, risks and opportunities. Lead investigations into highly complex, open‑ended tasks and identify root causes. Create military‑compliant designs incorporating custom machined/sheet metal parts with commercial off‑the‑shelf items. Perform structural analysis of aerospace components—static, dynamic, thermal, fatigue, fracture mechanics and damage tolerance—to meet sizing, strength and dynamic load requirements. Design new products and processes; improve and maintain existing products; investigate design factors such as cost, manufacturability, tolerancing, availability, compatibility and contractual specifications. Create 3D product models, outlines and layouts; support design reviews and coordinate work with project, engineering and manufacturing teams. What You Will Learn

Degree in STEM and minimum 5 years relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience. Professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications We Prefer

Finite element analysis experience—structural/thermal (NX NASTRAN, ANSYS, FlowTherm, ABAQUS). Modal analysis, internal stress loading, fatigue and safety margin documentation. Design analysis of commercial industry standards and military electronics packaging, chassis and electromechanical applications. 3D CAD experience (Solidworks, Creo, CATIA, NX). Printed circuit board design experience; support mechanical environmental considerations. Design and environmental mitigation for electronics packaging. Interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5. Military standards knowledge—MIL‑STD‑810, RTCA DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑1472. Hands‑on rugged environment qualification experience.
