About The Role Bluefin is hiring a

VP, People

to lead and evolve People Operations across a high‑growth organization. Reporting to the

SVP, Financial Operations , you will be a strategic business advisor to leadership, improving and building functional capacity for payroll, benefits, onboarding, recruiting, workforce planning, learning and development and compensation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage HR policies, aligning with the company’s strategy and goals.

Design and implement organizational and staff development programs.

Lead workforce planning initiatives, including succession planning, talent management, change management and performance management.

Identify opportunities to improve the employee experience and build an engaged, motivated workforce.

Build and implement a learning and development program to support talent management and compliance objectives.

Ensure HR processes, policies, and record‑keeping practices comply with federal, state, and EU labor laws.

Oversee payroll, reporting, and timekeeping compliance.

Partner with management on employee relations issues, ensuring appropriate and sound resolutions.

Manage the company benefits program, ensuring competitive, cost‑effective offerings.

Create a compensation program, including philosophy, review procedure and job leveling system, leveraging salary surveys and analysis tools.

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top‑tier talent.

Oversee end‑to‑end hiring, including job postings, interviewing and onboarding experiences.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to drive successful recruitment and retention efforts.

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience leading or managing an HR function in a high‑growth company (benefits, compensation, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, performance, training).

BA/BS required.

Experience in a global organization preferred.

Analytical thinker who translates business needs into actionable HR plans.

Strong influence and counsel skills for managers.

Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture valuing diversity and collaboration.

Experience with benefits administration and brokers.

Preferred experience with Rippling HRIS.

Applied knowledge of U.S., state/local, and EU employment laws and statutes.

Professionalism and ability to manage expectations of diverse leaders.

Detail‑oriented, organized, self‑directed, autonomous.
