Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the IT enterprise for Momentus Inc. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on networking infrastructure and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
Management of networking infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud.
Design and implement Network monitoring systems.
Monitor performance and identify areas for improvement for Network.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, including navigating the complexities of all networking systems such as FortiGate Firewalls, Meraki, SDWAN, NAC and VPN configurations.
Work with IT and Information Security to monitor and report on networking assets.
Write technical documentation in the form of procedures as it pertains to Networking Infrastructure
Required Skills and Experience
Experience with network operating systems such as JUNOS and Cisco IOS
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
Experience in SDWAN, LAN, WAN, VLAN
Experience in cloud computing network infrastructure.
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls and VPN
Ability to work independently.
Excellent technical communications skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
Advanced Experience in SDWAN, LAN, WAN, VLAN
Experience in Network Architecture
Network Automation
Ability to work and learn IT functions as needed.
Advanced network security administration
Education & Work Experience
BS degree in Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
7+ year relevant experience.
Compensation Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package (base+bonus+equity) and is determined within a range. Your actual base salary will be determined on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Our benefit plans include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan, short and long term disability and life insurance. We also offer flexible PTO, along with 11 paid holidays, sick time and paid parental leave.
Location This is a full-time position in San Jose, California.
Eligibility This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required.
