Position Description CGI Federal is currently looking for a Mid-Level Information Systems Security Engineer with active Top Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The role involves supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems and networks, contributing to compliance efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Support the development of program requirements related to IT, software development, and systems integration.

Assist in designing and maintaining network communications systems.

Contribute to network architecture specifications and schematics.

Provide input on hardware/software selection and implementation techniques.

Participate in testing and evaluation of network designs.

Help assess new technologies to enhance network capabilities.

Ensure quality standards are met in deliverables.

Coordinate with internal teams to capture customer requirements.

Support the development of technical solutions through established processes.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in software development or related discipline, with experience in technical documentation.

Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Senior-level IT professional.

Experience with software development and system interfaces.

Familiarity with .NET, C#, JavaScript, Java, Perl.

Knowledge of Oracle, API Architecture (SOAP/REST), Git.

Exposure to Solr, Bash Shell.

Understanding of Oracle Label Security, PL/SQL.

Experience with Visual Studio Pro, Selenium.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Ability to collaborate and contribute to team success.
