Principal Radio Access Network (RAN) Architect
Boldyn Networks US Operations LLC, New York, NY is seeking a Principal Radio Access Network (RAN) Architect to leverage expertise in telecommunications technology and architecture to support Product Development, Network Engineering, and RF Engineering teams.
Responsibilities
Develop reference architectures and new products aligned with company growth and financial targets.
Build self‑optimizing networks and automated systems using network statistics and data analytics.
Provide technical expertise and assist the team in achieving product development objectives.
Lead technical solutions workshops and collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and product development teams.
Develop, write and present concepts, solutions and products to senior‑level customers.
Deliver technical feedback to ensure smooth transition from development to implementation.
Work with leadership to close deals and support technical contributions and product implementation.
Manage transformation strategies covering Wireless protocols (3GPP LTE/5G, 802.11n/ac/ad/ay, microwave, mmWave), spectrum regulation, DAS, MIMO and wavelength technologies.
Oversee implementation of Neutral Hosted Networks and Radio Access Network Sharing.
Ensure compliance with information security, maintain confidentiality, report incidents and participate in cybersecurity training.
Perform technical deployment of Smart Cities and OPEN‑RAN network for 4G and 5G.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a comparable role.
Experience with Wireless protocols (3GPP LTE/5G, 802.11n/ac/ad/ay, microwave, mmWave).
A background in spectrum and regulatory experience (cellular, CBRS).
Experience with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), MIMO and wavelength technologies.
Experience developing and presenting technical concepts to senior‑level customers.
Experience with neutral hosted networks, RAN sharing, and OPEN‑RAN deployments.
Strong analytical skills using network statistics and data analytics.
Compensation $125,000‑$210,000 per year.
Work Arrangement Full‑time, 5 days a week, 40 hours per week.
