Overview Intuit’s Consumer Group, including TurboTax and Credit Karma, empowers millions of individuals to take control of their finances. We leverage data and insights to innovate and enhance our consumer offerings. Now, we are expanding our focus to Consumer Lending and Banking within the Consumer Group, requiring a strategic leader to manage and develop a team of Risk Analysts. This role will be crucial in supporting our consumer banking initiatives. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Risk and data Analysts focused on establishing right monitoring and reporting for consumer banking portfolio
Close collaboration with credit risk and fraud risk policy teams to drive and scale product launches successfully by end‑to‑end funnel monitoring and deep‑dives
Partner with teams across all of Intuit (including product development, marketing, data engineering, compliance, risk policy etc.) to enable decision support and key customer insights in the money movement risk and analytics spaces
Makes decisions that impact cross‑functional priorities, strategy, and outcomes
Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to ensure analytical solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of various stakeholders
Use big data and AI technologies to mine massive‑scale transactional data to optimize analytics solutions, policy monitoring and establishing new KPIs and goals to track business performance
Leading and coaching the team to drive recommendations utilizing multiple types of data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn’t exist.
Build relationships across Intuit by serving as the liaison of the BDA team throughout the organization and cultivating relationships with other functions critical to the team’s mission.
Mentor and coach other analytics team members (inside and outside the direct team) to drive creative ideas, use of the latest data techniques and elevate outcomes.
Qualifications
Proven leader in the data and risk space with 6+ or more years of experience leading conversations across teams to drive for business requirements clarity, build, and launch, with a strong emphasis on consumer banking.
3+ years of experience managing and developing a team of analysts.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines in the consumer banking domain.
Expert in one of the following analytics tools, such as Python, R, SAS, and any environment under SQL.
Deep understanding of how Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) techniques can be applied to credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and fraud detection.
Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non‑technical colleagues, including telling compelling stories with data, especially in consumer banking.
Strong strategic mindset, but also willing to roll up your sleeves and get into the details, coaching team members where needed, particularly in the consumer banking context.
Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, Databricks.
Proven history as a self‑starter who seeks the problem, doesn’t wait for the problem to find them with excellent problem‑solving skills and end‑to‑end quantitative thinking in consumer banking.
Demonstrates highly effective cross‑functional leadership and experience working in a large matrixed organization, aligning cross‑functional stakeholders, gathering business requirements, and launching product features in a fast‑paced environment, with a focus on consumer banking.
Analytically minded with experience working on large‑scale data projects; product management experience would be a plus, especially within consumer banking.
Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills.
Domain experience in FinTech, Risk, Financial services, with specific expertise in Consumer Banking, is highly advantageous.
Undergraduate degree required (Economics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
Compensation Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: Bay Area California: $158,000- $214,000.
