Position Summary Focus Partners Wealth is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join a planning‑centric team dedicated to creating personalized wealth advice based on each client’s goals and aspirations. The role involves partnering closely with Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process.
Remote work is possible but requires travel throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, revise, and present comprehensive financial plans through planning software.
Apply knowledge of tax, estate, and insurance planning to client strategies.
Master Focus Partners Wealth’s investment philosophy and create holistic investment strategies for each client, monitoring risk tolerance over time.
Understand trading fundamentals and collaborate with the Portfolio Management team to approve and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, and tax‑loss harvesting.
Become proficient with the technology stack, including CRM system and custodian websites.
Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors and independently lead client communications and interactions.
Document client communication and information accurately in the client relationship management platform.
Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for client needs and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest level of client service.
Complete client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team.
Engage in advisory team business planning efforts and actively support the firm’s strategic priorities.
Meet with clients in person; some travel may be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Series 65 or equivalent within 120 days of employment.
>2+ years of financial service experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑orientated approach.
Knowledge of industry products, planning concepts, and financial products.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Clean U4 background check.
Compensation and Benefits Annualized base pay range: $110,000 – $120,000 per year, contingent on experience, location, and skill set. Additional compensation may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and 401(k) with company match.
