Job Overview This hybrid role requires time in the Chicago office. It is an exciting opportunity to be part of the US Distribution Analytics team supporting US Personal and Business Banking. The incumbent will recognize the need for strict security and use good judgment and professional tact when handling confidential and sensitive matters. The incumbent will also support, and at times, collaborate with multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

Support Sales Practices group with building and delivering monitoring reporting for various sales behaviors.

Design, develop, configure and implement innovative analytical solutions for consistency and repeatability.

Provide value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques.

Design and produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, and dashboards.

Structure and assemble data into multi‑dimensions with various granularities such as demographics, customers, products, transactions.

Document and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.

Break down strategic problems and analyze data and information to provide subject‑matter insights and recommendations.

Build reports and visualizations in Power BI to communicate data‑driven insights for various audiences.

Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.

Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Knowledge

3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

University degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar.

Experience in Banking/Financial Services.

Subject matter expert in SAS, SQL, Power BI and Excel.

Knowledge and experience in Tableau and Python a plus.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a high level of due diligence.

Salary $74,000 – $138,000

Pay Type Salaried

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
