Key Responsibilities
Framework Development: Build, enhance, and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript. Test Scripting: Design and execute high-quality test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and E2E scenarios. CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into DevOps pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins) to enable automated gated check-ins. API Testing: Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and backend reliability. Cross-Browser Validation: Leverage Playwright’s capabilities to ensure seamless application performance across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve flaky tests.
