Introduction We are seeking a highly strategic and technically deep Senior Product Manager to lead the long-term vision, modernization, and evolution of Apptio’s core Data Platform.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Own and articulate the long-term vision for the Product.

Define and execute a multi-year strategy for platform modernization, including computation engine re-architecture, data ingestion scaling, and UX simplification.

Translate complex modeling, financial, and data management needs into clear requirements, themes, and architectural epics.

Lead deep customer discovery across practitioners, implementation teams, and enterprise financial organizations to identify systemic challenges.

Own prioritization for high-impact investments that improve performance, scalability, maintainability, and customer configurability.

Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver on product requirements.

Serve as a senior product voice with executive customers, partners, and industry leaders.

Partner with other Apptio PM leaders to build unified product experiences across the platform.

Align engineering, architecture, design, and go-to-market teams behind cohesive strategic outcomes.

Monitor industry trends and convert insights into platform direction.

Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

6 plus years of product management experience, including extensive experience owning complex enterprise platforms.

Strong domain expertise in TBM, ITFM, FinOps, enterprise cost modeling, or equivalent financial/operational modeling systems.

Deep experience with data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, and enterprise data management.

Familiarity with computation engines, rule-based allocation systems, and platform configuration frameworks.

Proven ability to define multi-year product strategy and influence across senior engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex system interactions to both executives and highly technical stakeholders.
