We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic First Mate to join a 40m support vessel that forms part of a larger fleet. This is a single season yacht based in the Mediterranean.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is dynamic, energetic and ready to step up into a First Mate role, while already bringing prior experience and confidence to the position. The successful candidate will be joining a small, tight-knit team and working closely alongside the Captain.
Key Requirements:
Qualifications: Yachtmaster Offshore or higher, plus ECDIS certification. Previous deck experience is essential, with some bridge exposure and a few modules completed. Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach. Enthusiastic and career-driven, with a willingness to grow into the role. Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Captain in the safe operation and navigation of the vessel Leading and managing all deck operations and the deck team Taking charge of docking, anchoring, tender driving and watersports operations Overseeing deck maintenance, safety procedures and compliance Maintaining high standards of presentation and professionalism during owner use If you are a skilled deck professional seeking a new challenge on a well-managed yacht with a great crew culture, we would love to hear from you.
