Business Development Director (Healthcare Admissions Growth) Renu Healthcare is a boutique, physician‑led Substance Use Disorder (SUD) medical detox and residential treatment program located in Orange County, California. We provide high‑touch, medically supervised care in a private, modern setting. As we scale responsibly, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Director with a current book of business to support consistent, ethical admissions growth.

Role Overview This is a senior, relationship‑driven role focused on generating qualified admissions through existing referral relationships across the SUD treatment continuum. The ideal candidate maintains active relationships with IOP, PHP, detox, and residential programs and understands how patients transition into higher levels of care when clinically appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Drive admissions through an established referral network and build and maintain relationships with IOP and PHP programs, detox and residential treatment centers, therapists, clinicians, case managers, and interventionists and aligned referral partners.

Educate referral sources on Renu Healthcare’s medical detox and residential model.

Represent Renu Healthcare professionally in the field, at meetings, and industry events.

Collaborate directly with ownership and clinical leadership.

Ensure all outreach and referral activity remains ethical, compliant, and HIPAA‑aligned.

Provide insight into referral trends, levels‑of‑care transitions, and payer dynamics.

Qualifications

Proven business development experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment.

Active, current referral relationships required, including IOP and/or PHP programs.

Strong understanding of admissions workflows across detox, residential, PHP, and IOP.

Knowledge of ethical referral standards and healthcare compliance.

Self‑directed, relationship‑oriented, and results‑focused.
