Job Summary The Site Program Manager (SPM) is the on‑site leader of a Think Together educational program conducted on a partner‑school campus. The SPM oversees all aspects of the state‑wide recognized after‑school program, ensuring it meets educational and recreational requirements, operates safely and efficiently, and functions in accordance with policies and operational procedures. The SPM is responsible for student safety and site operations, maintains program quality, fosters positive partner relationships, and ensures compliance with attendance and funding requirements. This role requires flexibility to work before school, after school, non‑instructional days, weekends, and summer/winter periods.

Level I

– Student Attendance Goal: 84–207; PL Oversight (Number of Program Leaders): 4–10; Site Level Complexities: Headcount, Attendance Goal, Number of Services, hours of service.

Level II

– Student Attendance Goal: 208–419; PL Oversight: 11–20; Site Level Complexities: Headcount, Attendance Goal, Number of Services, hours of service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day site operations and program activities.

Ensure all program activities align with Think Together mission, core agreements, and ethical standards.

Monitor participant engagement, behavior, and academic impact for continuous improvement.

Implement curriculum, lessons, and activities to support student academic success.

Train, coach, and supervise staff and volunteers; maintain high staff performance through printed materials, ongoing coaching, and clear procedures.

Maintain a safe, healthy environment; enforce school safety plans, report incidents, and comply with district policies.

Recruit, recommend, supervise, train, discipline, and terminate site staff.

Ensure sustainability of funding sources by meeting attendance targets and grant requirements.

Maintain accurate enrollment, attendance, and program records; ensure data confidentiality.

Communicate regularly with school principals, faculty, parents, and stakeholders; coordinate on school‑day alignment.

Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.

Manage site budget, timecards, and human resource policies.

Participate in SPM and related meetings, training, and strategic initiatives.

Meet all deadlines and deliverables established by the organization.

Ability to communicate orally and in writing to diverse audiences.

Ready to perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements Education and Experience – Level 1

High School Diploma or G.E.D required. Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.

1‑2+ years of experience in education/youth programs.

Minimum 1+ year supervisory/leadership experience; 2+ years preferred.

Additional credentials (e.g., completion of Think Together Build the Bench Program) preferred for internal candidates.

Previous classroom experience required.

Strong written and verbal communication with students, parents, and school staff.

Excellent program management, on‑time task completion, and budget oversight.

Bi‑cultural/Spanish bilingual background may apply in some districts.

CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.

Satisfactory TB skin test.

Passing DOJ & FBI background check.

Level 2

– Similar requirements with higher experience (2‑3+ years in education/youth programs; 2+ years leadership; 3+ years preferred; AA or vocational certificate related to the position).

Compensation $76,700 per year.
