CNC Programmer – Mastercam (Bonus Program)

Program milling machines utilizing MasterCam 2022, verify conformance of generated toolpaths with drawing requirements, design/create custom fixtures/jaws, and interface with shop floor operators. Work from engineering drawings/CAD files, customer blueprints and specifications in both metal and composite materials. Edit legacy programs and verify effectiveness of changes. Use standard operating procedures to generate, modify, transfer/load, and archive verified programs to maintain traceability. Familiar with all standard machine shop processes and procedures as well as a wide variety of precision measuring instruments. Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Perform first‑article verification of dimensions in finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Confer with supervisors or managers to resolve machine malfunctions or production non‑conformances prior to obtaining approval to resume production. Maintain open dialogue and positive relationship with machine shop floor staff. Diagnose and rectify tooling problems. Employee may be required to work overtime. Required Responsibilities
Substantial MasterCam programming experience Operate multi‑axis Haas CNC equipment Knowledge of quality management systems AS9100 GD&T experience Current or active security clearance is a plus Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance. Prototype experience is a plus Composite machining is a plus Must bring your own tools Knowledge of shop mathematics, of complicated/detailed drawings, specifications, formulas and a wide variety of precision measuring instruments together with a broad knowledge of applications. Education & Experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience Ability to read, speak and write in English. ITAR Requirements
