Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation, is seeking a Technical Writer for the Medical Devices division. The role is 100% onsite, W2 only, no C2C or 1099. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Job Description
Document suites of products, including hardware and software user guides, installation guides, service bulletins, tip sheets, product and device labels, and online documentation.
Review product data, requirements, specifications, drawings, part lists, and prototypes to develop customer‑facing and internal‑facing documentation.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, appropriateness, and consistency of documents; peer review documents developed by other writers when appropriate.
Manage the labeling review process and prepare documents for production and final release.
Collaborate with quality, regulatory, clinical, marketing managers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to determine content type, level of detail, and enhance readability, clarity, conciseness, and style.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management and business units, prioritizing deliverables to meet company goals.
Adhere to established templates and guidelines for product labeling documentation.
Keep abreast of regulatory compliance requirements and participate in related training.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or other liberal arts degree.
Experience working in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
Extensive experience with regulatory compliance processes.
Strong background supporting regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to guidelines.
Demonstrated collaboration with marketing, clinical, quality, regulatory reviewers.
Five or more years of writing and editing hardware/software user guides (print and online) and other technical documentation.
Effective project management and ability to prioritize tasks under compressed deadlines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of electro‑mechanical concepts and software application usage.
Device labeling and/or packaging content development experience is a plus.
Familiarity with large‑company engineering change control and Agile software development.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
Minimum two years writing for online help.
Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP system.
Experience with version control systems such as Perforce, Subversion, Team Foundation Server, or GitHub.
Knowledge of screen capturing, photography, and image editing software (Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop).
Skilled in electronic and hard copy markup (Acrobat, tracked changes in Word, standard editorial symbols).
Experience with desktop publishing tools (MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, InDesign, Illustrator).
