As part of this mission, we are building a local GTM Hub office in Columbus to serve as the center of activity and collaboration. Role Summary

The Value Engineer will establish and lead the value engineering function across multiple pod companies. This role partners closely with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Founders to build and communicate the business value of each company’s product. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with tactical execution, helping define ROI frameworks, create customer‑ready business cases, and deliver clear value stories that drive confidence and deal velocity. Columbus, OH preferred Responsibilities Develop the foundational value framework and toolkit used across all pod companies, adapting models to each company’s specific metrics and market. Partner with AEs and Sales Engineers to create business cases, ROI analyses, and executive presentations that link product capabilities to measurable outcomes. Engage directly with prospects to understand their business goals and quantify potential value. Collaborate with our Portfolio Founders to refine positioning and ensure alignment between value messaging, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategy. Support the sales process with clear, data‑backed value narratives that accelerate decision‑making and improve win rates. Build and maintain a repository of value assets, case studies, and metrics to drive consistency across pods. Present value stories to customer and executive audiences with clarity and credibility. Establish feedback loops with post‑sale teams to evolve models based on realized value and customer insights. Requirements Proven experience in SaaS value engineering, sales consulting, or similar customer‑facing roles. Strong understanding of business metrics, financial modeling, and ROI frameworks. Ability to translate complex product capabilities into quantifiable business outcomes. Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging executive audiences. Hands‑on, analytical, and adaptable to different business models across startups. Familiarity with Google Sheets / Excel preferred. Preferred Experience Background in B2B SaaS or software sales.
