The Opportunity We’re looking for a
Head of Sales
to build, lead, and optimize the sales function across the organization. This role is not about being the top individual contributor, it’s about
building a high-performing, accountable sales team . We are in a unique position. We have a product that scales effortlessly from mid-sized companies to massive global enterprises scaling from hundreds of users to hundreds of thousands. We don’t lose on product. We displace the incumbents in the space. DocTract just works.
You’ll be responsible for leading the sales team, driving consistent execution, improving sales processes, and stepping into key deals when needed. Most importantly, you’ll ensure the sales team is focused on the right outcomes, following best practices, and delivering predictable results.
What You’ll Do Lead & Coach the Sales Team
Recruit, onboard, train, and coach Account Executives
Run pipeline reviews, deal strategy sessions, and call coaching
Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable to outcomes, pipeline, and revenue goals
Own Outbound & Pipeline Generation
Lead the outbound Sales Development function and own top-of-funnel performance
Define outbound strategy, messaging, targeting, and sequencing in partnership with a dedicated Sales Development Manager on your team
Set activity benchmarks and pipeline creation targets
Ensure consistent execution and high-quality handoffs to Account Executives
Drive Execution & Accountability
Ensure Account Executives are consistently doing what they need to do to be successful
Ensure every active opportunity has clear next steps and owner
Establish and enforce sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
Monitor CRM data, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health
Support Enterprise & Strategic Deals
Lead or assist with complex, high-value, or strategic sales opportunities
Partner with Account Executives on negotiations and closing strategies
Drive multi-stakeholder enterprise processes through procurement/legal/security steps when applicable.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including sales leadership
Proven experience managing and scaling a sales team
Strong coaching skills with a track record of improving rep performance
Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers
Deep understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, and forecasting
Comfortable rolling up your sleeves when needed, but focused on leading others
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Experience with modern sales tools (CRM, sales engagement platforms, etc.)
