Role Overview This is a Non‑Employee Contingent Worker role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies. The employee will be employed by TIAA’s preferred 3rd‑party supplier and will perform moderate‑complex business planning, support, and project‑related duties. The engagement term is 11 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. The position will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location listed in this posting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ongoing audits of existing retirement plan policies and practices to comply with federal, state, or local legislative changes.

Oversee responses to client requests for plan document amendments and/or restatements.

Consult with clients on complex ERISA, IRS, DOL, and SEC issues related to qualified and non‑qualified retirement plan reporting and Form 5500 filing requirements.

Maintain current awareness of legislative changes, IRS rulings, and expert opinions related to retirement plan processing.

Ensure institutional operational and contractual processes align with the legal retirement plan document.

Provide regulatory feedback on client‑produced legal plan documents to clients and internal business partners.

Possess thorough knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, laws, and regulatory issues (non‑discrimination testing, fiduciary responsibilities, audit guidelines, ERISA reporting, SEC, IRS, NASD, SIPC, MSRB, DOL).

Collaborate with internal business partners to remediate identified plan document/operational variances, delivering direction to align the legal plan document and TIAA operations.

Educational Requirements

University degree preferred.

Work Experience

3+ years required; 5+ years preferred.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work.

Compensation & Posting Dates Base Pay Range: $33.89/hr – $47.60/hr. Actual base salary may vary based on experience, time in role, internal peers, performance, business sector, and geographic location. Start Date: 05‑Jan‑2026. End Date: 31‑Dec‑2026. Travel required: No.
