Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler) Equitable is looking for a Regional Vice President (Hybrid Wholesaler) to join our Individual Retirement team in the RIA channel. This RVP will be responsible for driving growth of Annuity Sales in their assigned region. You will work remotely with up to 40% travel as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with existing clients.

Penetrate all potential clients within existing clients.

Assess clients' needs in order to promote new products.

Educate and train clients on Annuity products.

Develop new RIA relationships and manage the territory.

Follow up on Internal Sales Desk leads.

Maintain sales goals and identify, create, and implement annuity sales opportunities.

Communicate with the Head of RIA Sales on an ongoing basis.

Travel within the sales territory up to 40% as needed.

The base salary for this position is $60,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

2+ years RIA sales experience

2+ years experience in sales of Variable Annuities

FINRA Series 6 or 7, and Series 63 Licenses

Annuity, Life and Health Insurance License

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in selling annuities to RIA’s and fee-based advisors

CLU, ChFC and/or CFP a big plus

Direct Sales Experience

Skilled communicator with ability to simplify complicated details for various audiences

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style

Ability to develop strategies and business plans to deliver and exceed expected business objectives and results

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
