The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at ViaSun Corporation is a key executive leadership position responsible for the financial strategy, planning, and management of the organization. The CFO will manage all aspects of financial risk, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive sustainable strategic growth. This role is critical to the success of the company as it transitions to a projected $100M in revenue and takes on new opportunities for expansion and profitability. The individual in this position will collaborate closely with the CEO and other C-level executives to shape the strategic direction of ViaSun Corporation.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and financial health of ViaSun Corporation

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals

Ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and investment guidelines

Manage interactions with investors, analysts, and regulatory agencies, providing timely updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives

Lead risk management strategy to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organization

Assess and improve corporate finance policies and processes to strengthen financial productivity and efficiency

Drive cash management strategies, optimizing working capital, and ensuring adequate liquidity to support business operations and investments

Collaborate with the executive team on corporate strategy, providing financial insights that inform key decisions and actions

Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence

Ensure compliance with corporate governance and develop board materials for finance-related discussions and reviews

Requirements

Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or other relevant financial certification preferred

Experience: 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role in the construction or related industry

Deep knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and corporate finance practices

Proven experience in strategic financial planning and reporting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation

Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Experience in private equity, corporate financing, or mergers and acquisitions is a plus

Technologically savvy, with proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems
