General Manager - Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse – Full Time (Flamingo LV)
Restaurant Manager responsible for day‑to‑day operations, employee relations, and achievement of budgetary and service objectives.
Job Description
Maintain high customer satisfaction by building rapport with guests through table touches, greetings, and warm farewells.
Resolve customer complaints and service deficiencies with sincere communication and appropriate recovery tools.
Analyze business trends and employee performance using tools such as Avero.
Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Operations Director to develop strategies that maximize revenue and reduce expenses.
Ensure the restaurant/bar complies with Health Department regulations and maintains the “A” grade; knowledge of relevant regulations required.
Boost employee morale by modeling Spotlight 5 behaviors and providing guidance and support for world‑class guest service.
Conduct individual and team QIT, CIP, EOS/SFS, Step 1, Buzz sessions, and use the Harrah’s coaching cycle for positive and corrective feedback.
Adhere to and enhance departmental and restaurant-specific policies, procedures, and service sequence.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Food & Beverage Director.
Required Skills
Professional interaction with all casino/hotel departments.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Willingness to assist co‑workers as needed.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook email.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Minimum five years of high‑volume food and beverage experience.
Minimum three years of supervisory experience.
Confident, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
Reliability and conscientiousness.
Ability to communicate in English with guests, co‑workers, and supervisors.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to act quickly and exercise sound judgment in pressure or conflict situations.
Knowledge of current PC software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Proficiency in point‑of‑sale systems (e.g., Micros, Infogenesis).
