The Director of Business Intelligence is a critical leadership role within the Revenue Strategy & Operations (RSO) organization. This position leads the strategy, development, and execution of our BI roadmap to empower commercial and executive teams with accurate, timely, and actionable insights. You will own our data visualization ecosystem, build scalable reporting infrastructure, drive advanced analytics initiatives, and partner cross‑functionally to elevate data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. This leader will balance hands‑on technical contributions with strategic direction setting, ensuring alignment, consistency, and excellence across all revenue‑related datasets, dashboards, reporting, and insights.

Strategic Leadership

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on performance trends, strategic levers, and prioritization of data‑driven opportunities.

Lead in‑depth and ad‑hoc analytics requests from executive leadership, finance, commercial teams, and revenue strategy partners.

Translate complex data into clear, concise executive‑ready insights, narratives, and recommendations.

Data Infrastructure, Governance, and Visualization

Serve as the primary business owner for all BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker), ensuring reliability, accuracy, and usability for commercial and executive stakeholders.

Develop and maintain the organization’s Single Source of Truth (SSOT) dashboards, while designing new strategic dashboards aligned with company KPIs and growth priorities.

Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and GTM Systems teams to ensure new, custom, or evolving fields are properly integrated into the data ecosystem while upholding strong data governance and integrity.

Continuously evaluate and strengthen the BI infrastructure to improve scalability, maintainability, and end‑user accessibility.

Advanced Analytics & Strategic Insights

Migrate complex manual data models into automated, scalable Looker‑based workflows to provide real‑time insights and self‑service analytics for cross‑functional teams.

Lead analyses that identify trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities across revenue, margin, profitability, and customer datasets.

Employ machine learning and other advanced analytics methods to generate AI‑driven insights, predictive indicators, benchmarks, and automated narratives embedded into dashboards and reports.

Collaborate with Revenue Strategy and executive leadership to design high‑level performance reporting, including daily run rates, pacing, margin profiles, historical trends, and other key operational metrics.

Revenue Data Alignment & Governance

Ensure revenue data alignment across all datasets—including 1st‑party, 3rd‑party, billable, and product telemetry data—to create unified and reliable reporting.

Partner cross‑functionally to audit, validate, and reconcile revenue‑related metrics across systems, promoting consistency and trust in all performance outputs.

Influence and shape upstream data decisions to optimize quality, consistency, and usability of data consumed by commercial teams.

Champion the adoption of AI/ML across the RSO organization to automate insights, recommend actions, identify anomalies, and enhance recurring reporting workflows.

Drive innovation in how the organization leverages AI‑powered data storytelling, generative insights, and predictive analytics for commercial decision‑making.

Training, Enablement, and Best Practices

Develop enablement materials including playbooks, tutorials, how‑to guides, FAQs, and best practice documentation.

Conduct training sessions, new‑hire onboarding, and open office hours to ensure BI tools are widely understood and leveraged.

Promote a self‑service analytics culture across go‑to‑market, product, and executive teams.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Business Intelligence team.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the Revenue and Executive leadership team.

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

8+ years in a Business Intelligence or similar business analytics role; preferably within AdTech or digital media/advertising

Strong experience with tools needed to analyze and interpret data and draw conclusions

Strong understanding and hands‑on working experience in SQL relational databases, dashboarding and visualization tools (i.e., Looker) and scripting languages (i.e., Python)

Self‑starter; able to tackle complex problems into actionable plans

Highly collaborative individual with a strong ability to work in a cross‑functional environment

Experience managing and mentoring a high performing people team

A builder that enjoys creating and implementing streamlined processes

Able to prioritize and multitask with exceptional time management skills

DeepIntent is proud to offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of a base salary range of $180,000–$200,000. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidate's skills, experience and qualifications.
