About The Position Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well‑being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team. Setting: Hospital.
Responsibilities As a Travel Surgical Tech you will:
Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during surgical procedures.
Prepare and sterilize operating room equipment and supplies.
Monitor surgical instruments, tray, and setup throughout procedures.
Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols.
Provide support and assistance to the surgical team as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
BLS Certification
2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
