About the Role As the Director of Supply Chain, you will lead the Supply Chain organization, overseeing hiring, supervision, development, and succession planning for staff. You will drive end-to-end operations, including procurement of finished goods and parts, capacity planning, warehousing, inbound and outbound transportation across all modes, fulfillment management, logistics asset oversight, vendor performance and agreements, budgeting, and the development of supply chain strategies and systems.
What You Will Do
Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring on-time delivery by aligning demand, manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing resources
Develop and execute strategic operating plans, supply chain models, and performance metrics to support business objectives and growth
Oversee vendor management, including evaluation, risk assessment, contract compliance, and resolution of quality or service issues
Direct warehouse and logistics operations, enforcing policies for inventory accuracy, retail compliance, and efficiency
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs, minimize working capital, and enhance organizational productivity
Guide programs, projects, and team development to strengthen supply chain capabilities and overall performance
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Distribution/Logistics
Minimum of 5 years of people management experience.
Highly proficient with ERP systems (ie, SAP, Oracle)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points if You Have
MBA or Master’s Degree in Operations or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management, Quality).
Global experience collaborating with APAC suppliers and logistics partners.
Knowledge of consumer electronics or other fast-moving product industries.
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to travel up to 15%, both domestic and international.
Be open to working in the Northridge, CA office (hybrid option available; flexibility to come into the office on short notice when needed is appreciated).
Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment (post-offer).
