(*\*in collaboration with AbbVie*)## About the Role:Primarily provides routine Alliance Management support including the logistical, administrative, and process related activities for alliances spanning new business development transactions to existing strategic alliances in early development through commercialization. Provides support to ensure that alliances run smoothly and related projects progress and meet pre-defined objectives and timelines.\_## Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):* Under general supervision, perform alliance support including cross-functional coordination, scheduling, reporting, and tracking.* Provide governance and meeting support such as preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and working with cross-functional teams to compile governance presentations.* Serve as a point of contact for routine alliance communications.* Assist with tracking contractual milestones and monitoring contractual obligations.* Coordinate with internal teams such as R&D, Legal, Finance, Clinical, Regulatory, and CMC to support alliance activities.* Track action items and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure completion.* Maintain alliance related trackers and dashboards.* Support preparation of alliance status updates and reports.* Escalate risks, delays, or issues to senior alliance leaders.* Assist with communication of priorities and strategies to alliance governance committee(s).* Other duties as assigned.## Requirements:* BS/BA degree in a scientific or business field
and 2+ years of experience in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical scientific or alliance management-based role OR* Master’s Degree in a scientific or business field and some similar experience as noted above* Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotechnology basics including the drug development process, regulatory aspects, and cross-functional roles.* High attention to detail in all aspects of work.* Demonstrated success working with PowerPoint, Excel, and the Microsoft suite.* Easily adapts to a variety of technology and collaboration tools.* Ability to work as part of a team both as a contributor and as a leader.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.* Comfortable handling complex relationships and resolving conflict.* Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when delays occur.* Good project management skills.* Demonstrated functional expertise working in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry role with expertise in a scientific discipline, business development, or alliance management function.* Experience working on a cross-functional team.* Experience working with contracts and knowledge of legal terminology.* Working knowledge of small molecule and biologics drug discovery and development.* Experience collaborating with global teams.* Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.#LI-TM1Neurocrine Biosciences is an EEO/Disability/Vets employer.We are committed to building a workplace of belonging, respect, and empowerment, and we recognize there are a variety of ways to meet our requirements. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
