Physician Office RN - Full Time - McLeod Oncology & Hematology (Florence)
Join the McLeod Health team as a full‑time registered nurse in our oncology and hematology office in Florence, South Carolina. You will provide direct patient care, support clinical teams, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient environment.
Responsibilities
Foster an environment that demonstrates care, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, visitors, and co‑workers.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all medical equipment in the office.
Adhere to procedural checklists for administering all immunizations/injections.
Ensure all examination rooms are clean, fully stocked, and any expired supplies are replaced.
Call patients from the waiting area using appropriate title and last name to a clean, well‑stocked examination room.
Obtain and accurately document vital signs and confirm chief complaint.
Triage and perform in‑house diagnostic testing according to orders.
Manage patient workflow in the clinical area.
Provide support and assistance as needed to patients, nurses, physicians, and other staff.
Participate proactively in problem solving and process improvement activities through collaboration with clinical teams using Evidence‑Based Practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse license.
Basic Life Support certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
