Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgical cases in the Operating Room. Work within multiple surgical service lines to deliver patient-centered care. Follow organization policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for surgical services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Assist with scheduling, on-call requirements, and holiday coverage as part of OR staffing rotations. Service lines and facilities

Cardiac ENT General Gynecology Neurosurgery Ophthalmology Orthopedics Plastics Robotic surgery Spine Transplant Trauma Urology Vascular/Thoracic Northwestern Memorial Hospital has 60+ operating rooms across multiple locations including Feinberg Pavilion, Prentice Women’s Hospital, and Lavin Family Pavilion. Qualifications

Required

Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing. Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher. Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (healthcare provider level) through American Heart Association. Analytic ability (conceptual and quantitative). Oral, listening and written communication skills. Strong human relations skills to interact effectively in difficult situations. Proficiency with keyboard data entry. Preferred

Experience in a specific clinical area. Nursing specialty certification, if eligible. Benefits and Professional Growth

CNOR certification as an expectation after two years of OR experience; certification reimbursement through professional development funds. Professional development reimbursement: $1,000 Full-time / $500 Part-time per fiscal year. Tuition reimbursement: $10,000 Full-time / $5,700 Part-time per fiscal year.
