We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role requires strong clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve communication and quality of life for patients.
Key Responsibilities
C onduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide therapy to patients across diverse age groups and conditions.
Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately.
Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech-language pathology.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and assistive communication devices.
Bilingual proficiency to support diverse patient populations.
Certifications (if any)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred/required depending on state).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
