Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our new Professional Services Team, playing a key role in the success of our clients’ onboarding and integrations. This customer-facing role is responsible for leading complex data conversions, designing and developing custom features and integrations, and ensuring every client implementation delivers reliability, accuracy, and long-term scalability.
You’ll collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to design technical solutions that streamline adoption of The Mortgage Office platform and maximize customer satisfaction.
The Mortgage Office by Applied Business Software is the industry’s leading loan servicing and mortgage management software, trusted by private lenders, brokers, and servicing companies nationwide. As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a Professional Services Team dedicated to helping customers transition onto our platform through expert data conversions, custom development, and tailored implementations.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Technical Ownership
Serve as the technical lead for customer implementation and data conversion projects from kickoff through completion.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to establishing best practices for coding, testing, and documentation.
Define reusable frameworks, templates, and scripts to standardize and accelerate future projects.
Data Conversions
Architect, develop, and optimize data migration pipelines from legacy systems into The Mortgage Office SQL Server database.
Lead client-facing data mapping and analysis sessions to identify schema differences, dependencies, and validation strategies.
Build and execute ETL processes and validation tools to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Custom Development & Integrations
Develop tailored solutions such as modules, integrations, and automation tools based on client requirements.
Utilize The Mortgage Office API and supporting technologies to create seamless data exchange between systems.
Collaborate with internal product and support teams to transform recurring client needs into productized features.
Work directly with clients to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver custom implementations.
Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support during conversions, testing, and go‑live phases.
Document all custom development, integration details, and conversion methodologies clearly and accurately.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software development, preferably within enterprise, ERP, or financial software environments.
Advanced proficiency in:
Microsoft SQL Server (T‑SQL, stored procedures, triggers, optimization)
C# / .NET Framework and .NET Core
ETL scripting and data transformation workflows
RESTful API integration and data exchange formats (JSON, XML)
Proven experience leading technical projects or implementations for enterprise clients.
Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or comparable source control and CI/CD platforms.

Achieve 99.9%+ validated data accuracy in all conversion deliverables.
Project Delivery:
Complete assigned projects on time and within scope.
Customer Satisfaction:
Maintain high client satisfaction ratings post-implementation.
