The Enterprise Applications and Services team partners with academic divisions and administrative units to implement modern platforms, advance data-informed decision making, and continuously improve the digital experience for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners.**Job Summary**The Senior Business Analyst partners with business and technology teams to deliver solutions that drive organizational goals. This role leads requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design, ensuring alignment with business needs. The Senior BA oversees testing and implementation readiness, provides actionable insights, and fosters collaboration across stakeholders to enable successful project outcomes.**Responsibilities*** Serves as a key member of the University Systems team, which provides functional-level support for the University's set of core applications.* Performs business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, defect management and remediation.* Works with stakeholders to understand their business objectives.* Documents and conducts gap analysis between current and future state of business processes.* Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement and recommends solutions.* Maintains business process documentation throughout the SDLC of the project.* Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.* Leads meetings with guidance from program management or senior management, and distributes meeting minutes and action items.* Leads and coordinates requirement gathering sessions with appropriate teams.* Plans and facilitates workshops/interviews to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and translates them into business plans/solutions.* Prepares and delivers client presentations.* Acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.* Manages Test Plans/ Test Cases/ Defect Management and Remediation.* Leads and manages user acceptance testing and receives final approval.* Follows the standards established by the BA Organization.* Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.* Prepares and provides training materials when needed.* Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of business processes* Familiar with SDLC of a project.* Great communication skills to handle and manage senior level expectations.* With moderate direction from others, conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses.
