Opportunity University of Michigan Health–West is seeking a full‑time, board‑eligible/board‑certified Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to support our inpatient oncology patients. High‑caliber, quality‑focused, innovative providers should apply to join our employed, sub‑specialized team to expand and provide care to local communities.
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality, comprehensive care to inpatient oncology patients both in‑patient and outpatient settings.
Perform thorough evaluation and examination of patients.
Order, conduct and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests.
Co‑ordinate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.
Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Current Advanced Practice Provider and employed through a health‑system medical‑group model.
Hemarthology and/or oncology experience is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team‑based approach to health care.
Fluency in English (additional language fluency is a plus).
