About the Role
Status: PRN (as needed)
Location: Reston/Herndon Imaging Center, Herndon, VA
Schedule: Flexible weekday hours
No holidays or call
Work in a newly built outpatient MRI center equipped with GE 1.5T and 3T systems
Who You Are As an MRI Technologist for Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC), you are passionate about technology and dedicated to patient-centered care. You guide each patient through their exam with compassion and professionalism, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
What You’ll Do
Perform
general and specialty MRI exams
using GE 1.5T and 3T technology
Deliver high-quality imaging with accuracy and empathy
Maintain imaging protocols and accurate documentation within PACS/RIS systems
Provide every patient with a professional, supportive, and reassuring experience
What You’ll Bring
6+ months of MRI experience
or
successful completion of a formal MRI training program
ARRT (R) or MRI certification , or
ARMRIT certification
required
Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification required
Strong communication, technical, and customer service skills
