Position Summary Bone Marrow Transplant Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
will practice on Rush’s downtown Chicago location on a three-day, 12-hour schedule. The APP will collaborate with three BMT physicians and eight fellow APPs to manage all inpatient and outpatient BMT patients, including Fast Track and bone marrow biopsy coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Provide acute, well care, and chronic care in the urgent care setting for BMT patients of all ages.
Manage inpatient and Fast Track BMT services.
Coordinate outpatient clinic visits and bone marrow biopsies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure cost‑effective, high quality patient care.
Qualifications
APRN candidates must be acute care certified. Advanced Practice Provider experience in Bone Marrow Transplant or other cancer‑related specialty preferred.
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position.
Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
Maintains State of Illinois and Federal DEA license.
Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable.
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Excellent communicator; procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D).
Physician Assistant – Key Requirements
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate.
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program.
Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Must maintain Rush University Medical Center (RUMC), Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), and Rush Copley Medical Center (RCMC) clinical privileges, as applicable.
Excellent communicator; procedural experience (simple laceration repair, I&D).
Compensation Pay Range: $124,610 - $175,000. Total compensation includes base pay, benefits, incentive programs, sign‑on bonus, and relocation allowance.
