Interim Director of Accounting
Our client, an enterprise SaaS company, is seeking an Interim Director of Accounting to provide leadership during a transition period while they complete a permanent search.
This position is remote, with the option to work onsite in Redwood City, CA. 2 days per week. This engagement has an expected duration of 3 months.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 2–3 covering Revenue Accounting, AP, and Payroll.
Review and manage revenue accounting and contract review processes.
Oversee month-end close using Intacct.
Handle commission accounting and international accounting (recent acquisition in Bulgaria).
Support ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements
Experience operating at Senior Manager to Controller level.
Relevant industry experience (software).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Hands‑on experience with accounting systems (Intacct preferred).
Ability to manage and mentor a small team.
Compensation

Licensure and certifications;
