The AWS Services FP&A team is looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst who will own the processes, analytics, and generate business insights for Services' financial performance. The role requires a self‑starter who exhibits thought leadership, develops processes, communicates with senior executives, and collaborates across teams. In addition to traditional functional Finance skills, this role requires the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and exercise influence to coordinate key planning workstreams and projects. “Learn and be Curious” is also key, and this role offers the opportunity to develop a strong business understanding of the key AWS services planning and reporting processes. Key Job Responsibilities

Lead the planning cycles for a multi‑billion dollar business. Drive reporting for operating expense and capital expense. Deep‑diving variances versus plan to understand changes and uncover opportunities for efficiency improvement. Lead cross‑functional projects involving finance and tech teams. Set up processes and automate reporting. Basic Qualifications

3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science). Preferred Qualifications

4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes. 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses. 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making. 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis. 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
